Ashburn, Virginia USA (March 21, 2008). Heckler & Koch announced today it is reestablishing its in-house product training activity and is scheduling new courses through its offices in Ashburn, Virginia.

 The Oberndorfer based Heckler & Koch Group has won the international tender of the Spanish Army for the introduction of a new, light machine gun with the MG4 E in calibre 5.56 mm x 45. In accordance with the tender the Spanish Army states a requirement of a minimum of 1800 light machine guns, distributed in a period of four years.

Ashburn, Virginia and Oberndorf, Germany, June 27, 2007 – Heckler & Koch announces the resignation of John G. Meyer, Jr. as Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2007. Mr. Meyer is departing after two years with the Company to pursue other opportunities requiring less international travel.

 With the current project "Infantryman of the Future, Extended System" (IdZ - ES), which is presently in its planning phase, the eminently successful IdZ program is continued.  Main objectives are the implementation of operational experience gained as well as further increases of the sustainability of the infantry section. An essential core element in doing so is of course the armament and optronics components of the new system, which is being implemented by Messrs. Heckler & Koch as subsystem leaders in cooperation with various optronics partners.
